Panorama Named Preferred Partner By Skyward to Bring Leading AI and MTSS Solutions to Texas Districts
June 24, 2025 — Panorama Education, a K-12 education technology company that helps students achieve success in school and beyond, announced today that it is partnering with Skyward, Texas’s leading student information system (SIS), and the Texas Education Exchange (The Exchange), a secure data exchange enabled by the Ed-Fi Data Standard, to bring AI-driven intervention planning and evidence-based multi-tiered system of supports (MTSS) directly to Texas school districts.
As Texas educators rapidly adopt generative AI at the classroom level to save time and personalize student learning, school districts are seeking effective system-wide AI solutions that uphold rigorous standards for data security, privacy, and compliance.
At the same time, mandates like Texas House Bill 1416 require districts to track and report interventions more comprehensively, yet many SIS platforms do not seamlessly integrate with the MTSS or AI tools that make this possible.
Now Texas districts using Skyward can access either Panorama Solara (a FERPA-compliant AI platform built for K-12 districts) or Panorama Student Success (research-backed MTSS platform) at no cost for the first year. Districts interested in adopting both can take advantage of special subsidized bundled pricing. First-year funding for Solara or Student Success is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
"When districts can securely integrate tools that work together, they spend less time managing systems and more time supporting students," said Dave Ilkka, Vice President of New Business Development at Skyward. "Through The Exchange, our partnership with Panorama brings powerful AI and student support solutions directly to Texas districts, helping them meet HB 1416 requirements with confidence."
Texas Skyward districts can now have access to Panorama’s AI-powered intervention planning, MTSS reporting and analytics, and district-specific AI tools without needing to build costly custom integrations or dealing with unknown compliance or security risks. While Skyward's Qmlativ platform includes a built-in MTSS solution, integrating with Panorama Student Success will bring districts deeper insights and additional functionality to better support every student.
"Through our partnership with Skyward and The Exchange, districts can now leverage high-quality, context-aware AI outputs and research-backed MTSS interventions while upholding the highest standards of student data privacy," said John Ruff, Director of Strategic Partnerships at Panorama Education. "This eliminates data silos, reduces manual work, and supports seamless state reporting and compliance with HB 1416."
Panorama currently serves 1.5M+ students in Texas, or one in four Texas students. "We’re honored at the opportunity to bring our solutions to many more Texas districts in support of improving outcomes for every student," Ruff said.
