Panorama Solara AI Wins 2026 EdTech Trendsetter Award

April 8, 2026 — Panorama Education, the leading platform for student insight and action in K-12 education, today announced that Panorama Solara, its district AI solution, has been named a winner in the EdTech Awards 2026. Solara received the Trendsetter Award in the “product or service setting a trend” category and was also named a Cool Tool Award finalist for “best artificial intelligence (AI) solution.”

Now in its 16th year, the EdTech Awards, presented by EdTech Digest, is the world’s largest awards program honoring the most exceptional innovators in education technology.

“From the beginning, we believed AI in schools had to be built differently,” said Danny Johnson, Chief Product and Technology Officer at Panorama Education. “Solara represents a new model for AI in K-12: one that supports educator decision-making, with privacy, safety, and high-quality context as the foundation. This recognition highlights what’s possible when AI is developed alongside educators and focused on improving outcomes for students.”

Built specifically for K-12, Solara is a district-managed AI solution that helps educators improve student outcomes across academics, personalized instruction, and student support. It securely integrates district data, instructional materials, and local context to deliver outputs that are aligned to district practices. Educators and leaders use Solara to streamline work like differentiation and intervention planning, while improving the quality and consistency of support.

Today, hundreds of districts serving millions of students use Solara to save time and improve how they support students. 73% of teachers using Solara report saving 4+ hours per week on IEPs, interventions, and more. In the 2024-25 school year alone, Solara saved educators 520,000 hours—time reinvested directly into student support.

Like the rest of the Panorama platform, Solara is built on rigorous data security and privacy standards. District data is not used to train AI models, and the platform complies with FERPA, PPRA, and COPPA. Panorama also holds a SOC 2 Type II attestation and recently earned the Common Sense Privacy Seal with a 93% rating, among the top-rated education technology platforms evaluated by Common Sense Media.
