July 7, 2026Panorama Education, the leading platform for student support and learning in K-12 education, has been named EdTech AI Platform of the Year in the 2026 EdTech Breakthrough Awards, which recognize organizations advancing innovation across the global education technology market.

This recognition follows Panorama Solara's Trendsetter Award win from EdTech Digest earlier this year, marking another milestone in the company’s continued innovation in AI-powered educator support.

Now in its eighth year, the EdTech Breakthrough Awards recognize organizations driving innovation across the global education technology market. This year's program attracted more than 3,000 nominations from organizations spanning more than 20 countries, marking its largest and most competitive field to date.

Panorama Solara, the solution at the heart of this recognition, is built specifically for K-12 education. Rather than a standalone AI tool, Solara securely connects AI with the systems and data districts already rely on, including student information systems, district curriculum and protocols, and the broader Panorama platform, delivering outputs that are aligned to district practices and grounded in real student context.

Districts using Solara are seeing benefits that extend well beyond efficiency. Eighty-three percent of teachers report faster lesson planning, saving an average of five hours each month. More importantly, educators report reinvesting that time into supporting students. Panorama's instructional AI has also been associated with measurable academic gains, with partner districts reporting 15-17% improvements in ELA scores.

Built with district governance in mind, Solara keeps district data within the Panorama ecosystem and does not use customer data to train AI models. Panorama meets FERPA, COPPA, and SOC 2 Type II standards and maintains a 1EdTech certification for data privacy, giving district leaders confidence to adopt AI responsibly while maintaining full control of their data.
